Questions
1) The Supreme Court’s intact institutional credibility is of utmost importance in ensuring a well-functioning constitutional democracy. Elaborate.
2) Ropeways are a preferred ecologically sustainable alternative to conventional roads in difficult hilly areas, and they have the potential to become a transportation mode in congested urban areas and river-crossings. Discuss and also highlight the steps taken by the government to promote ropeways.
Great Answer! Very balanced arguments both in favor and criticism of the Court. Perhaps you could have also mentioned that the Judiciary/SC must be free from any political bias and not be committed to the Executive like that happened in the ADM Jabalpur Case. Also in pendency, do mention the pendency of cases of Constitutional Importance which have major impact on democratic rights of the citizens.

Great answer! Very comprehensive in terms of content. All aspects of the question have been addressed. Don’t write North-east India specifically, ropeways are being used in other parts as well. Also could have included associated environmental concerns.
