The recent Ukraine crisis highlighted that the institutions of global governance which were supposed to guarantee peace have failed. So, a new concept of “inter-generational justice” has emerged. It signifies the rights and interests of the present and future generation regarding the renewable and non-renewable resources of earth. It signifies a fair utilization of resources by human generations in past, present and future. It tries to construct a balance of consumption of resources by existing societies and the future generations.

How to achieve inter-generational justice?
- Sustainable development by balancing the use of natural resources.
- Sustainable means of energy must be developed. So that future generations can equally reap the benefits across the countries.

- There should be an inter-generational dialogue that include younger and older population.
- International institutions must be made more diverse representing large no. Of nations. These institutions are key to decide all important global matters.
