Some aspects are great. Good that You have mentioned some disputes, and the reasons for disputes. It’d be great if You can also draw a rough map and show approx locations of disputes. Reasons can be put immediately after listing the disputes and preferably as a schematic.
Don’t mention 1956 Commission as such, since mechanism is asked You can write that Government can create Commissions for dispute settlement e.g, Sundaram and Shastri Commissions for Assam-Nagaland Dispute.
You can also mention that one issue is lack of Constitutional arrangement for boundary disputes like Article 262 for water disputes. Since Parliament has power to create new States, it should have powers to settle disputes also.

Good answer! Try to add a rough map and show locations of disputes. I’m not sure about JPC as a mechanism. JPC/MPs may not have required skills or may even be biased. Independent Commissions are more appropriate, Govt has created some commissions for dispute settlement. Also mention absence of mechanisms like Art 262. Rest seems great.

You can also mention that Government can create commissions to settle disputes. Dialogue between States through Zonal Councils or through other mechanism can also be added. Show more disputes in the map esp in the North-east.
Rajya Sabha can create law on State List but dispute settlement is not one of the State Subject, so avoid it.
Also India has 8 UTs, please correct it.
