Malnutrition exacerbates the magnitude of the public health crises we face and is India’s most serious challenge and concern. In this regard, highlight the significance of Food fortification for India.
Accepting reforms mooted by previous panels will strengthen the Election Commission’s independence. Elaborate.
Good answer! I think You can briefly mention the reasons for malnutrition (e.g., PDS lacks diversity of food), lack of awareness etc. You can also define malnutrition as imbalance in nutrients in food intake (undernutrition and micronutrient deficiencies).
In suggestions, You can add the Government can consider expanding the scope of PDS to widen items provided. Overall good!

To the extent possible, try to provide definitions by standard Institutions/Agencies etc. e.g., in health related issues use WHO definitions (e.g., you can mention ‘undernutrition’ and ‘micronutrient deficiency’ under Malnutrition as defined by the WHO). and when doing so highlight it like “According to WHO”. Under reasons, also mention lack of diversity in items supplied under PDS.
Do mention some diseases caused by malnutrition.

Good answer! The content is relevant, but some changes can be made in structuring.
You can first mention the issues with Independence of the Commission. Mention Article 324 and the provisions and how the independence is effected e.g., lack of transparency in appointment can lead to selection of compliant officers. Lack of security of tenure to Commissioners can make them acquiesce to the Chief Election Commissioner.
Then suggest the measures. You can also suggest mechanisms used for appointment in other Agencies.
Wrote it as a 15 marks answer.
Good answer! Introduction is good with reference to the NFHS data. You can link the data with the lack of balanced diet and need for nutritious food and fortification. Here you can briefly define malnutrition and fortification as well.

In reasons for fortification, also mention it can help cover the micronutrient deficiency etc.
