The Focus Article of this Edition covers the issue of COP 27 Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt and Loss and Damage. The 27th Summit of the UNFCCC was remarkable in reaching an agreement on setting up the Loss and Damage Fund. However, the challenge lies in agreeing on the modalities regarding operation of the fund, and other governance mechanisms regarding climate reparations.
