Good answer. Carbon Markets were not proposed under Paris Agreement. Kyoto Protocol already had this arrangement.
Add keywords like Greenwashing. It is difficult to define ‘baseline emissions’ and ‘additionality’. Carbon emissions offsets can be of low quality, and can be reversed (e.g., certificate issued against afforestation can be temporary if trees are cut after some time). India’s PAT Scheme has not proved to be very effective, so implementation will be crucial.

Great answer! In the definition add ’emissions’ after carbon-dioxide. You can add the term ‘market based approach’ to reduce emissions.
In challenges, add the concern that it is difficult to establish ‘baseline emissions’ and whether projects against which certificates are issued actually lead to reduction in emissions.
India’s existing market based schemes like PAT have not been very effective.
Overall nice!

Good answer! Some of the points under significance may not be very relevant, and difficult to remember/recall so much data points. Challenges have been covered aptly. Also mention poor quality of carbon offsets (reversible) and difficult in establishing ‘additionality’ of emissions.

Excellent! Very apt definition. Proper use of keywords. In quality of emissions add difficulty in establishing baseline emissions and ‘additionality’. A high quality answer!

Great answer! I think the first point under why hooch tragedies are consequence of banning can be that it results in ‘underground’/’black market’. Since it is black market, there are no checks (quality checks). In suggestions, also add mention high taxes (sin tax) on alcohol. Overall very nice!
