Every year, after the Mains, there is one common repent that we all have. And that is
“I wish I had this fast writing in my initial papers!”
The truth is that our hands are stiff, flow of ideas is slow, and translating ideas to paper is cumbersome in the first few days of the Mains. But by the time the Mains gets over, we have everything working for us.
Our hands get free writing 27 hours of grueling tests. Once the Mains is over, your writing speed and thought process is so fast, you could easily complete the paper before time, f you were to write the exam again!
But experience is the comb life gives us when we have lost all the hair.
Dear Friends,
We are delighted to share that we shall be conducting the MGP – X – the Mains Open Simulator Test for CSE 2023 as per the below schedule
In purpose of Mains Open Simulator Tests – MGP – X is to ensure that candidates simulate the the Mains examination once before writing the actual Mains this year.
Conducted just 15 days before the actual examination, the open test ensures that you have practiced at least 18 hours of writing before the actual Mains examination- a skill that most people acquire after the first Mains.
Make good use of this opportunity by writing the Mains Open Simulator X as per the below calendar
- 1st September – Essay (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
- 2nd September – GS I (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM) & GS II (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
- 3rd September – GS III (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM) & GS IV (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
If you are appearing for Mains 2023, you shouldn’t miss it under no circumstance. The Mains Open Tests have been attempted by almost all non-MGP students** such as Shreyas Kumat, ( Rank 4 ), Shubham Kumar ( IAS Rank 1, CSE 2020 ) and have found it useful as a tool to improve their time management skills and writing practice.
Will the Open Tests repeat questions from MGP?
There are two things we want to tell you
One, the questions from MGP Tests will not be repeated in MGP – X
Two, this does not mean that because we have asked most important topics / expected questions in MGP, so the open test will be full of non-relevant questions.
This means that in the Mains Open we shall be asking questions from the most important and expected topics in the Mains Examination 2023. These may include topics on which we have already asked questions in mgp.
However, the question as such will not be repeated from MGP.
If you are someone who is planning to write CSE 2024 or have skipped this attempt, you should not miss this opportunity to write the Open Tests.
