Explanation – Subansiri River is the tributary of the river Brahmaputra. It originates in the Tibet Plateau and enters India through Miri hills in Arunachal Pradesh. It is also known as Gold River due to the presence of gold deposits in its riverbed and due to the presence of gold particles in its waters and the alluvial deposits along its banks. It passes through Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
