Explanation: The World Happiness Report 2017 (WHR 2017) was released on 20th March 2017 (the International Day of Happiness) by the Sustainable Development Solution Network (an UN body).

The report is a 155-nation survey, fifth of its kind (the first being in 2012)—is the outcome of coalition of researchers.
