Explanation – Fiji, officially known as the Republic of Fiji, is an island country located in Melanesia, part of Oceania in the South Pacific Ocean. Fiji is an archipelago consisting of more than 330 islands, of which about 110 are permanently inhabited, and over 500 smaller islets. Fiji is situated about 2,000 km north-northeast of New Zealand and approximately 3,150 km from Sydney, Australia.
