Explanation – The Hornbill Festival is an annual event celebrated in Nagaland from December 1 to December 10 at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, near Kohima. It is organized by the Government of Nagaland to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Naga tribes and encourage inter-tribal harmony. Known as the Festival of Festivals, it features traditional dances, music, crafts, and food from all 17 major tribes of Nagaland.
