Explanation – The signatories to the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor (IMEC) project are India, the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the European Union, France, Germany, and Italy. This was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the G20 Summit in September 2023. The project aims to enhance connectivity and economic integration between Asia, the Middle East, and Europe through multi-modal transport networks, including railways, shipping routes, and pipelines.
