About Moei River
- Source: It emerges from the eastern slopes of the Tenasserim Hills in Myanmar.
- In Burmese, it is called “Tong Yin River”.

- Length: The River is 327 km
- Merges into: It is a tributary of the Salween River.
- Tributary: The Yuan River joins its left bank only 7 km before its confluence with the Salween River.
- Unlike most rivers in Thailand, it flows north in NW direction.
- Key Towns: Mae Sot (Thailand) and Myawaddy (Myanmar) are major towns along its banks.
