A. Implementation Status
- Har Ghar Jal: As of 2025, UP has achieved over 80% saturation in rural tap water connections (up from 1.9% in 2019).
- Focus Regions: Prioritizing the Bundelkhand & Vindhya regions through surface water projects (e.g., Bansagar Dam) to address chronic drought.
- Village Institutions: Role of Paani Samitis (VWSC) in operation and maintenance.
B. Quality & Convergence
- Water Quality: Deployment of Field Test Kits (FTK) and training women as Jal Sakhis to test for Arsenic/Fluoride.
- AMRUT 2.0: Convergence for urban water supply and rejuvenation of water bodies (Amrit Sarovars).

- Rental Housing: Promoting Affordable Rental Housing Complexes (ARHCs) for migrant workers in industrial hubs like Noida.

A. Direct Benefit Transfer
- Scale: UP has the highest number of beneficiaries (2.34 Crore+).
- Reforms: Mandatory Land Seeding (linking Khatauni) and e-KYC to remove ineligible beneficiaries.
Trend: “Universal Health Coverage” and “Elderly Care.”
A. Card Saturation
- Ayushman Bhav Campaign: Saturation drive to issue Golden Cards to all eligible families (SECC 2011 + Antyodaya).
- One District One Medical College: Complementing PM-JAY by creating tertiary care infrastructure in every district.

- Ayushman Vay Vandana: Implementation of the new Senior Citizen Health Cover (70+ years) providing ₹5 Lakh free treatment regardless of income status.
