News: A 250-member youth delegation from Jammu and Kashmir called on Vice President at Uprashtrapati Bhavan under ‘Watan Ko Jano’ programme.
About ‘Watan Ko Jano’ Programme

- ‘Watan Ko Jano’ Programme is an exposure and cultural integration programme for youth from Jammu & Kashmir.
- Implementing Agencies: Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Government of Jammu and Kashmir
- Aim: The program aims to introduce the youth and children of Jammu and Kashmir to the nation’s dynamic progress, rich social fabric, and cultural diversity, fostering a strong sense of social, cultural, and emotional connection.

- Promote national integration
- Provide youth with exposure to different parts of India
- Familiarize them with cultural diversity, development initiatives, and institutions
- Key Features
- Youth are taken on educational tours across India
- Visits include historical sites, educational institutions, and industrial units
- Interaction with officials, security forces, and students
