Introduction

    • The ‘One Case One Data’ is a major digital initiative to integrate the judicial administration at every level. 
    • Aim: It aimed at strengthening judicial data integration and improving public access to court services across the country.

Features

    • It will integrate multi-level information from all the high courts, district courts and taluka courts into a unified system.
    • The new module would automate data retrieval from the databases of concerned courts and facilitate swift online verification of case-related information.
    • Reciprocal access to case information would also be provided to High Courts and government departments whenever required.

Impacts

    • The initiative is expected to streamline case management by creating a more comprehensive and interconnected digital database across the country’s courts.
    • It would also ensure data integrity, improve accuracy, and enhance transparency in the judicial system.

About ‘Su Sahay’ Chatbot

    • It is an Artificial Intelligence-powered assistance chatbot integrated with the Supreme Court website to facilitate easier access to justice and court-related services for litigants.
    • Developed by: It has been developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) in collaboration with the Supreme Court Registry.
    • It will provide a simple and convenient interface for citizens to seek front-end guidelines and guidance in accessing essential services of the Supreme Court.
