About ‘VIJAY’ Vision For a Technology-Driven Future Force
- ‘VIJAY’ is an acronym that defines the key priorities that will guide the Army’s future transformation.
- The acronym represents ‘V’ for vigilance, ‘I’ for innovation, ‘J’ for jointness and integration, ‘A’ for Aatmanirbhrata and ‘Y’ for ‘Yodha first’.
- ‘V’ – for Vigilance and Readiness: This highlights that the army will maintain constant vigilance regarding our borders and emerging threats and uphold a high level of operational readiness to effectively counter any challenge to national security.
- ‘I’ stands for Innovation and Transformation: This defines the focus on both doctrinal and technological solutions.
