AUSINDEX is a biennial bilateral maritime exercise between Indian Navy and Royal Australian Navy (RAN). The first edition of the exercise, AUSINDEX-15 took place in 2015 off the East Coast of India. The exercise is aimed at strengthening professional interaction and enhance interoperability between the two navies. It seeks to strengthen maritime cooperation between the India and Australia.

The third edition of AUSINDEX exercise (Exercise Australia-India) will be held off the coast of Vishakhapatnam from 2nd-16th April 2019. The first edition of the exercise, AUSINDEX-15 took place in 2015

It is a man-made forest located in Ayamkudi (a hamlet near Kaduthuruthy town), Kottayam District. The property is owned by N.K. Kurian, a Gulf returnee.

Chinook helicopters are an advanced multi-role, vertical lift military helicopter manufactured by US aerospace company Boeing. It is twin-engined, tandem rotor, heavy-lift helicopter. It is named after Native American Chinook people of modern-day Washington state of US. The helicopter has 24X7 and in all-weather operational capabilities

In 2016, the government permitted 100% FDI in the marketplace model of e-commerce, but not in the inventory-based model. In a marketplace model, ECMs act as platform for vendors to sell their products. In the inventory-based model, ECMs own and sell products.

Recently, DIPP had issued a clarification to the existing rules pertaining to Foreign Direct Investment in e-commerce companies. The new rules were

(a)If an entity is owned by an e-commerce marketplace(ECM),it cannot sell its products on the platform run by the same ECM

(b)A single vendor can’t account  for more than 25% of sales in an ECM or platform and

(c)The rules puts curbs on exclusive partnerships with brands or providing favorable services to a few vendors.

World TB Day is observed every year on March 24. World TB Day commemorates the date in 1882 when Dr. Robert Koch announced his discovery of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is the bacteria that causes tuberculosis (TB), an infectious airborne disease.

The index is released by the World Economic Forum (WEF).It ranks 115 countries on how well they are able to balance energy security and access with environmental sustainability and affordability. The WEF index considers both the current state of the countries energy system and their structural readiness to adapt to future energy needs.
India has been ranked 76th out of 115 countries on 2019 Global Energy Transition Index(GETI). Sweden has been ranked first and is followed by Switzerland and Norway.
