- Journalist and author Raghu Karnad has been conferred the prestigious Windham-Campbell Prize for his book, ‘Farthest Field: An Indian Story of the Second World War’.
- The Donald Windham Sandy M. Campbell Literature Prizes is an American literary award which offers prizes in four categories:(a)fiction (b)nonfiction (c)poetry and (d)drama.The award was established at Yale University in 2011 with the first prizes presented in 2013.
