Birth and domicile state: Akanchha Singh hailing from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh was born in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.
Family Background: Ishita’s father served in the Jharkhand state government as Joint Secretary, Welfare Department. Her mother is a housewife.
Educational Background: She did her schooling from Rajendra Vidyalaya and completed her B.A. (hons) in Geography from the reputed Miranda House, Delhi University. She has also completed her M.A., M.Phil, in Geography from JNU and currently pursuing her PH.D in Geography from JNU.
