The AWFG 2023 program is starting from Monday, 12th June 2023 at 7 AM. Click Here for instructions.
The test window is 7 AM – 10 AM. Students are expected their answer sheet by 10 AM.
However, we will accept copies for grading until 8 PM. Copies submitted between 10 AM – 8 PM will attract a penalty mark of 1.
No copies will be accepted or evaluated post 8 PM.
The consolidated result for each test will be provided between 48 – 72 Hours.

We are excited to announce that ForumIAS will be going ahead with the Answer Writing Focus Group – AWFG 2023 for Mains 2023 as well.
While we were not keen on it earlier, but as hundreds of our selected students have reached out to us in the past few weeks saying that AWFG was very instrumental in their selection this year, we decided to go ahead with the program this year as well. Additionally, hundreds of students who will be appearing in Mains this year have also reached out to us making demand for the same.
It makes us proud that more than 100 selected students this year have been from AWFG Program of ForumIAS.
While Mains Guidance Program (MGP) has delivered more than 500 results out of 900+ selections this year, the AWFG remains crucial because of several reasons.
One, while the MGP provides exam like 3 hour duration practice papers, the AWFG provides a 360 degree coverage of the syllabus through answer writing.
Second, while the MGP test papers provide comprehensive evaluation and feedback, the AWFG provides quick graded feedback creating a competitive environment, that is sometimes crucial to our success.
Lastly, some of our students often join MGP for Mains 2023 at this point. While the year long MGP does provide a complete solution for all topics, the MGP 2023 post prelims cohorts try to focus on high priority areas and are slightly biased in favour of current and dynamic issues which have been in news. The AWFG on the other hand is biased in favour of static areas of the syllabus.
Plus, the AWFG provides a system of 3 days a week answer writing practice, which we think is crucial to success in the immediately upcoming Mains.
How can I join the AWFG?
Enrolment into the AWFG , like the SFG will have to be earned by you!
So admissions to the group will be through a merit principle on the basis of an open test for all – including selected candidates ( so just don’t throw the VIP card yet 😛 )
The AWFG Entrance Test-3 will be held on 18th June 2023 at 9 AM and the answer sheet will have to be submitted in the offline mode immediately, and in the online mode by 11 AM of the same day.
Will the Program be available both online and offline?
Like the preceding years, the AWFG will be available in both online and offline mode.
Will our copies be evaluated?
Copies will not be evaluated like MGP but will be graded. So you will receive a composite score out of 10 in each paper.

The registration fee for the program is Rs. 708 inclusive of 18% GST and is non-refundable and non-adjustable.

What will I get?
You will get a total of 26 Test Papers covering GS paper 1, 2, 3 and 4 – with high quality, crisp answers, gradation, and rank list of all students.
Mentorship support for AWFG is not there unless you are also a part of MGP.

- Non-MGP 2023 Students: Rs. 6000+ GST

How to write the Entrance Test? – both Online & Offline
Students will be able to access the Entrance Test online by visiting the course – “AWFG Entrance Test – Mains 2023” under “My Courses” tab on academy.forumias.com at 9 AM on Sunday, 18th June.
They will be able to see the Question Paper & QCA Booklet. It is recommended but not mandatory to write the Tests in QCA Booklet.
In case candidates send the answers in A4 Sheet they must contain the details as below :

- Candidates can write and submit the Test by walking into ANY one of our TEN centers across India (Details/location given in the link below).
- The Timings for the Entrance test-3 shall be 9 AM on 18th June. Students are expected to reach their respective centers atleast 30mins before the test.
- Alternatively, candidates can submit the copies online on the Academy portal by 11 AM.

How we will proceed after that?
Results of Entrance Test-3 will be declared by 6 PM on 18th June 2023. Based on the performance of the Entrance Test, students will be required to pay the course fees.
Candidates who appear in Entrance Test-3 must pay the fee by 18th June 9 PM to be able to write the Tests from Monday, June 19th.
- Tests will be conducted Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – starting from 19th June (Monday).

- Tests will be available at 7AM and solutions by 9AM.
- Offline Discussion will be held at Karol Bagh center at 8:15 AM and live stream of the same shall be available in your Academy Portal.
