News: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology organised a workshop on BHASHINI Samudaye in New Delhi to strengthen India’s language AI ecosystem.
About BHASHINI Samudaye
- BHASHINI Samudaye is a collaborative ecosystem platform under BHASHINI that supports co-creation, governance, and scaling of Indian-language AI tools and services.
- Nodal Ministry: Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
- Developed by: BHASHINI Samudaye is led and developed by the Digital India BHASHINI Division.
- Operates under: The initiative operates under the National Language Translation Mission.
- Aim: It aims to help Indian citizens translate content in various Indian languages and enable effective communication among different-language speakers across India, and thus reduce the language barrier in India.
