- The NGO has been barred from receiving foreign donations since 2015 after its bank account was seized under the Foreign Contribution Regulations Act (FCRA), 2010.
- FCRA is a law enacted by Parliament to regulate foreign contributions provided by certain individuals or associations to NGOs and others within India.
