- The Odisha state Chief Minister has inaugurated Janibili Mega Drinking Water Project”, in Ganjam district. It is Odisha’s first integrated water supply project. The project seeks to supply water to Berhampur and rural areas of Ganjam district.
- The ‘Smart Park’ scheme for 114 urban centres in the State has also been launched. The scheme aims to develop 200 parks with an array of amenities in these urban areas.
- The scheme is a part of Project Unnati. Launched in 2017, it aims to bring all round inclusive development of urban areas by synergizing the resources from various schemes, agencies and providing critical gap funding.
