A group of individuals or experts appointed by an organization or government to investigate, study, or provide recommendations on specific issues.A body appointed by the government to perform a specific task or function, with the power to make decisions or recommendations.
A committee submits its report to a specific ministry or department which sets it up.Commission submits its report to the legislature so reports of the commissions are deliberated by the legislature.
May have advisory or supervisory roles and provide recommendations, but do not have decision-making authorityHave decision-making authority and may be empowered to make binding recommendations or take action.
