Detailed Application Form or DAF for UPSC CSE Mains 2021 is available from today on the website of UPSC. The last date to submit the same is December 1st, 2021 6:00 PM. Aspirants, who were successful in the UPSC CSE Prelims 2021, can fill the form using the link given below:

Important Instructions to filling DAF for UPSC CSE Mains 2021
– To log in to the form, you need to first create an account on the UPSC website through this link.
– Candidates must carry their Photo ID Proof at the Mains Examination venue. Photo ID should be the same which was submitted by them while applying for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021.
–Optional Subject, which was filled during the Prelims registration, cannot be changed under any circumstances.
–“Pay by Cash” mode will be deactivated on 30th November 2021. Then applicants will be able to pay through online mode till 1800 hours of 1st December 2021. Applicants, whose case payment details have not been received from the bank, they will be treated as fictitious payment cases. Such applicants shall be required to submit the proof within 10 days from the date of release of the list of fictitious payment cases.
–Fee exemption is not available to OBC and EWS candidates, and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
-DAF submitted after the prescribed time or incomplete DAF are liable to be rejected by the commission.
– The Main Examination will be held only at the following Centres:— Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram, and Vijayawada.
