Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for successful candidates of civil services preliminary examination, 2017 a few days ago.
The DAF (CSM) will be available on the website of the commission until August 31, 2017 till 6 pm. Here is the link.
Note: OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates will be required to fill the OBC proforma along with the Detailed Application Form, on line.

Presently , there is no space to fill cadre. Should we submit it without filling cadre or wait for upsc to allow filling cadre
dont worry.they said that their cadre preference will be asked in separate addendum afterwards..so u can submit it..other wise they would have deactivated the submit button untill the cadre policy comes.
I was also thinking the same but wanted to know what others views …..moreover i have got message to submit many times

Can we include our school achievements,like being head boy etc. Some are saying it can be included,some says no. Is it that speculative?

it was in the form itself.now i have submitted so cant open the form again..it said something like this your particulars at university/state or national level the all those line beneath it where we had to fill.
I havn’t submitted it yet. And yes obviously its given above all,at the top..but my question was can we fill school too?many are filling and some aren’t.
