Doha round

The Doha Development Agenda also called the Doha rounds refers to ongoing rounds of trade negotiations among WTO members.

The Round was officially launched at the WTO’s Fourth Ministerial Conference in Doha, Qatar, in November 2001.

Its aim is to achieve major reform of the international trading system through the introduction of lower trade barriers and revised trade rules and help the developing countries to integrate with the global marketplace and boost their economies as a result.
