After that, he started his preparation for UPSC exam.

Anup Das is already in Indian Revenue Service and posted in the Income Tax Department, Delhi. It is for the second time that he has cracked the civil services.

“I initially passed the UPSC Civil Services exam in 2020, and I reappeared after a three-year hiatus. Significant modifications have taken place, and prospective candidates must adapt their preparation to the evolving landscape and heightened competition within the UPSC exam,” remarked Das.

Hard work remains irreplaceable, but aspiring candidates must also employ strategic efforts. Das mentioned that it was a challenging task to prepare for the civil services once more, especially while holding down a job. Nevertheless, he expressed gratitude for the department’s support, which accommodated his leave requirements.

I was asked a lot of questions related to the revenue services. Apart from that, a lot of questions were asked regarding my hobbies, language, and food as well.

“Please plan after analysing your strengths and seek help from others to strengthen your weakness. As it is your goal and dream and you have to make your own path,” Das added.
