Delay in UPSC Notification for Civil Service Exam, 2021

Earlier the UPSC announced that it will conduct the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam on 27.06.2021. There have been speculations regarding the date of the Exam as the previous year(2020) exams were delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But as usual, the UPSC has delivered its promise and released the notification as per the released date sheet.

UPSC Notification is delayed this time due to the Case in Supreme Court for an extra attempt to the candidates. The Supreme Court in this case held that no extra attempt to be provided to the candidates.

Thus, there is no mention of the Extra attempt in the UPSC Exam notification. The age criteria will be followed like the previous UPSC Exams.
