UPSC has announced the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Mains result of the 2020 exam. The IFS Mains exam, 2020 held from 28th February 2021 to 7th March 2021. Candidates, who appeared in the exam, can check their result by downloading the official result given below:

UPSC Indian Forest Service Mains Result, 2020

In total, UPSC has shortlisted 222 candidates for Personality Test for selection to the Indian Forest Service Examination-2020 (Group ‘A’).

Important points and dates to remember:-

Candidates need to produce their original certificates at the time of their personality test, in support of their claims pertaining to age, educational qualifications, community, EWS, Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD).
The e-Summon Letter for Personality Test (interview) will be available on the UPSC website in due time.
Candidates will be required to submit their option for opt-in/opt-out for publically making available their scores. Then only they will be able to download the e-summon letter.
DAF-II will be made available on the Commission’s website from 23/06/2021 to 06/07/2021 (06:00 P.M.).
Once a candidate has submitted his/her preferences, they cannot be modified at a later stage.
The marks sheet of candidates, who have not qualified, will be put on the Commission’s Website within 15 days of the final result.

About the Indian Forest Service exam

Indian Forest Service (IFS) is one of the three All India Services of the Union Government. Every year, the UPSC conducts the Indian Forest Service exam to recruit officers into the forest service. The chief mandate of this service is to implement the National Forest Policy and manage the country’s natural resources.
