About Española Giant Tortoises
- Giant tortoises are the longest-lived of all vertebrates, averaging over 100 years.
- Geographic Range: Española Island [formerly Hood Island] in the Galápagos Islands of Ecuador.
- IUCN Status: Critically Endangered

- Galápagos Island: It is a part of the Republic of Ecuador. It is an archipelago of volcanic islands distributed on either side of the equator in the Pacific Ocean. It is a World Heritage Site.
