Recently, IAF conducted symposium on ‘Air domain awareness during Exercise Tarang Shakti 2024 .
About Exercise Tarang Shakti 2024

| About | 1. It is a major multinational air combat exercise organized by the Indian Air Force (IAF), marking India’s largest international air combat event. 2. The theme for the exercise is “Collaborative Approach to Facilitate Air Domain Awareness Towards Enhancing Regional Security.” |
| Aim | It aimed at enhancing interoperability and operational coordination among Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs). |
| Objective | To improve air combat techniques and foster a collaborative defense environment among participating nations. |
| Participants | It involves air forces from various nations for joint training, tactical skill development, and defense cooperation. Over 50 delegates from 27 nations participating in Exercise Tarang Shakti. |
| Purpose | Focus on fostering a collaborative approach to air domain awareness to enhance regional security and airspace management. |
| Key Discussion | 1. Concepts of national and regional air domain awareness were discussed among international delegates. 2. Emerging challenges related to air situational awareness and airspace management were addressed. 3. Focus on policy and technological solutions for improving information sharing among participating nations. |
