  • Yada Yada Virus belongs to the group alphavirus.The virus has been detected in Australian mosquitoes.
  • The virus poses no threat to human beings because it is a part of a group of viruses that only infect mosquitoes.
  • The other viruses which are part of the group alphaviruses includes Tai forest alphavirus and the Agua Salud alphavirus.
