SFG Residential (Prelims ) is a rigorous 23 weeks+ program aimed at clearing prelims clearing prelims with a Forest cut off for people who have done everything and are at their wit’s end as to why despite good past academic record, they are stuck at this stage. SFG(R) is conducted in an integrated residential campus with classes, hostel, mess in a single campus with a like minded crowd that saves time, aids productivity, simulates and spreads the competition that some people feel 1 week before the exam to over a 23 week period.

Students appearing for the FRC Entrance Test are allocated to one of the three groups — Group 1, Group 2, or Group 3 — based on their academic background and level of preparation.

Group 1 is allotted to students with a strong academic foundation who have appeared in multiple UPSC attempts and, in most cases, have already qualified Prelims. These students generally join FRC for its environment and peer learning opportunities.

Group 2 includes students with an average academic background who possess good conceptual knowledge and may have appeared in UPSC Prelims but have not yet qualified.

Group 3 is assigned to students who may not have a strong academic base, have primarily relied on self-study, and have not been part of any classroom or test series programs. These students are expected to put in additional effort to strengthen their preparation.

In some cases, students who are completely new to UPSC preparation and have not attempted the exam even once may be advised not to join the program at this stage.

Students are strongly encouraged to appear for the entrance test with honesty, reflecting their true level of preparation and providing accurate academic details. Misrepresenting facts or using unfair means during the test is not only unethical, but it can also harm the student’s own prospects in the long run.

Mentors and faculty members are experienced in identifying a student’s actual capability during the initial phase of the program. If a student has misrepresented their background or performance, they may find it extremely difficult to cope with the rigor of the program or the highly competitive environment of UPSC preparation. In some cases, this has led to students leaving the program midway due to mismatch in expectations and pressure.

It’s also important to note that once the program begins, No Refund is applicable. Hence, we advise students to be sincere and transparent from the start to make the most of the opportunity provided.

A test based on the class syllabus will be held the next morning from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

To maintain a clean and hygienic environment, the housekeeping staff cleans the washrooms multiple times a day. High standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained in both the washrooms and all shared areas of the campus.

Please note: While the campus team ensures upkeep of common areas, students are expected to take responsibility for maintaining cleanliness in their own rooms.
