About  Ferret Research Facility The Ferret Research Facility is a high-tech laboratory designed for studying infectious and non-communicable diseases. Ferrets are biologically similar to humans in their response to respiratory diseases, making them valuable for vaccine testing and disease research. The facility will support pandemic preparedness, vaccine development, and therapeutic testing.
