4. In March 2017, India restricted trade with North Korea except for food and medicines
5. The recent meeting is seen as India’s attempt to rebuild ties with ‘cornered’ North Korea
6. The visit came amidst a threat by North Korea to cancel the June 12 US-North Korea Summit if USA made denuclearization a precondition
