Dear Students,

This is to provide clarity on the Interview Guidance Program 2022 at ForumIAS. It consists of 3 types of
personality development sessions: Preparation, Development, and Improvement. You can choose to register for sessions as per your requirement.

Along with registration to the sessions, please send your DAF 1 and DAF 2 to igp@forumias.academy with
subject in the following format: Your Name _ Your Interview Date _ CSE/IFOS _ DAFs (Example: Saurabh _
15 Jan _ CSE _ DAFs).

Those students who do not have their actual interview dates can fill it in as 1 Jan 2023.

The sessions are as follows:

Session 1 is a DAF session where you speak to a mentor, and you can expect a focused list of questions that you must note down and prepare. It is not a mock session or a panel interview. Candidates must carry DAF 1 and DAF 2, a notebook, and a pen to the session. The session is recommended for first-time interview students and only for those who have not scored well in previous interviews. DAF sessions will commence on January 3, 2022.

Session 2 is a Mock Panel which is headed by retired IAS officers, and 3 to 5 membered panels will assess you 360 degrees. Feedback from the eminent panel should aid you in a timely and correct assessment of where you currently stand vs where you need to reach in your interview Preparation journey.

Session 3 is a One on One with Ayush Sir or any other senior mentor. In this session, it is expected that you have prepared yourself to some extent and taken One or more Mock Panels. This session has two parts, where in the first half you are asked some questions like a one-on-one mock interview. In the second half, you are given feedback, and improvements to make if any. Additionally, you can also discuss questions to which you are not able to find good answers. You can discuss your feedback from mock panels and take suggestions on how to proceed. If the mentor feels you need major overhauls, you may be required to come for a second or third One on One session. This session is extremely recommended for candidates who have not been able to score well before on the personality tests.
