India and Saudi Arabia conducted their first-ever naval exercise named “Al-Mohed Al-Hindi 2021” exercise.

Exercise Al-Mohed Al-Hindi is a bilateral naval exercise between India and Saudi Arabia.
Purpose: The exercise will showcase the reflection of growing defence and military cooperation between India and Saudi Arabia.
Features: The exercise comprises a number of shore and sea-based drills between the two navies. From the Indian side, INS Kochi participated in the exercise.

INS Kochi is an indigenously designed and built Kolkata class stealth guided missile destroyer of the Indian Western Naval Fleet.
Constructed by: The ship was constructed by the Mazagon Dock Limited, Mumbai.
