The first Space Science Museum has been opened in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The museum is a collaborative effort between the Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) and the B M Birla Science Centre.
The Space Museum has a host of exhibits including replicas of satellites such as (a)Ariane Passenger Payload Experiment (APPLE) (b) Chandrayan-1 (c)Mangalyaan and (d)launch vehicles like GSLV MK III.
The museum also has special enclosure in which visitors can directly get in touch with India’s Antarctic Space Station called Dakshin Gangotri in real time.
