Pre-cum-Mains GS Foundation Program for UPSC 2026 | Starting from 5th Dec. 2024 Click Here for more information
Dear Friends,
We shall be commencing with the Current Affairs for Mains 2023 from 19th of June at 11AM.
As has been the practice, the first two classes of the CA Mains 2023 can be attended by all students of ForumIAS, who are writing the Mains 2023.
We have three things to share about the CA Classes for Mains 2023
Firstly, Since its very first batch, the highest marks in GS has been secured by a CA Students – be it Pratham ( 501 marks, Rank 5, CSE 2017 ) to Garima ( 470 marks, Rank 2, CSE 2022 ).
Secondly, we believe that some level of content differentiation and enrichment is important for fetch marks beyond the general score. Unlike the Prelims where our strategy is to read from common source, the Mains, it is to have some points / content that is not generic or common.
Third, those of you who are looking for score improvement or rank improvement, must attend the classes to understand fully about content enrichment, going beyond the usual yada-yada.
If you are writing your first Mains, we expect you to pick up how to do “issue based preparation” from the classes. ( For the Mains, we do not have to read full books ( like in prelims ) but prepare issues from which questions can be asked.)
In CSE 2022, in Top 5, both Rank 2 and Rank 4 are students of Current Affairs Classes.
We invite you to attend the first two classes and benefit from the strategy of how to do issue based preparation, even if you do not plan to join the classes fully.
