News: Bidar district from Karnataka won the Centre’s Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari Award under Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain, for exemplary water conservation and community participation.
About Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari Initiative

| About | It is a national-level, community-driven campaign to conserve water and recharge groundwater. It builds on Gujarat’s Jal Sanchay experience and scales it through Centre–State collaboration. |
| Aim | Its aims is to promote community-driven water conservation and groundwater recharge efforts across India. |
