News:Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development has launched the Curriculum for Life Skills(JeevanKaushal) programme.

About the Jeevan Kaushal programme:
- The Curriculum for Life Skills (JeevanKaushal) programme has been designed by the University Grants Commission(UGC).
- The programme is aimed at inculcating emotional and intellectual competencies in higher education students and help them overcome stress and manage time effectively.
- The life skills programme will comprise of four courses namely (a)communication skills (b)professional skills (c)leadership skills and (d)universal human values.
- The programme will also focus on teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making among others.
