National Investment Manufacturing Zones (NIMZ) are large integrated industrial and investment clusters/township with requisite infrastructure for promoting manufacturing.
Requisite infrastructure includes clean and efficient technology, skill development facilities, roads and rail connectivity, electricity supply etc.
NIMZ are an important instrument under the National manufacturing Policy 2012.
