News:Niti Aayog in association with Piramal Foundation has launched a campaign ‘Surakshit Dada-Dadi & Nana-Nani Abhiyan’.
Facts:
- Aim:To create awareness about various aspects of senior citizens health and lifestyle including preventive measures and requisite behavioral changes in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
- Coverage:It will cover over 2.9 million senior citizens in 25 Aspirational districts across Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, MP, Maharashtra, Rajasthan & UP.

- Launched Year: 2018.
- It is coordinated by the Niti Aayog with the support from Central Ministries and the State Governments.
- Aim:To transform districts that have shown relatively lesser progress in key social areas and have emerged as pockets of under-development.
