News: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL) unveiled three indigenous micro and small gas turbine engines NJ-05, NJ-50 and NJ-100.
About NJ-05, NJ-50 and NJ-100

- NJ-05 is an indigenous micro gas turbine engine with a 5 kg thrust capacity.
- NJ-50 is an indigenous micro and small gas turbine with a thrust of 50 kg.
- NJ-100 is an indigenous micro and small gas turbine with a 100 kg thrust capacity.
- Developed by: The engines have been developed by CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL)
- Purpose: The engines have been developed to address critical requirements for indigenous defence technologies.
- Application: These compact propulsion systems are envisaged for applications such as tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, drone interceptors and compact missile systems.
