- The Animal Welfare Board of India was established by the Indian government in accordance with the law’s stipulations.
- Under the heading [Chapter VI, Heading28], the act states: In terms of the religiously approved manner of killing: No provision of this Act makes it illegal to kill an animal in the way prescribed by a community’s religion.
