Explanation – The Colombo Process is a regional consultative forum comprising 12 member states from South and Southeast Asia that are countries of origin for migrant workers. It was established in 2003 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The founding members were Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
