[C] 1 and 3 only

[D] 1, 2 and 3

Answer: B
Notes:

Explanations –

Statement 1 is incorrect. There is no limit on the number of terms an individual can serve as Prime Minister in India. A person can hold the position as long as they have the confidence of the Lok Sabha and are re-elected after each term.

Statements 2 and 3 are correct. A Prime Minister can be removed if a no-confidence motion is passed by a simple majority in the Lok Sabha, leading to their resignation along with the Council of Ministers. The 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution limits a person to being elected President only twice.
