Statement 1 is incorrect: Directive Principles of State Policy aim to create social and economic democracy. Whereas Fundamental rights aim at establishing political democracy in the country by preventing the establishment of an authoritarian and despotic rule in the country and protecting the liberties and freedoms of the people against the invasion by the State.
